A busy 2015 holiday travel season is expected at Orlando International Airport and picking up arriving passengers should be a little easier.

The North Cell Phone Lot officially opened today, and will offer drivers a convenient place park and wait for pick-ups. This lot is in addition to the South Cell Lot that has been around since 2006.

The lot will feature:

-          200 parking spaces

-          Free Wi-Fi

-          Flight Information Monitors

-          Restrooms

-          Pet relief areas

-          Easy Access to Terminals A&B

-          Electrical Access

-          Landscaped retention pond

The lot is located just north of the airport’s Main Terminal on Jeff Fuqua Boulevard (SR 436).

This project is part of the airport’s $1.1 billion capital improvement program which includes new terminal ticket lobbies, baggage system enhancements, a South Airport Automated People Mover complex and Intermodal Terminal Facility.
