Mr. Met flipping the bird This gesture cost Mr. Met his job.

The New York Mets are sub .500 to begin the Major League Baseball season and fans are not happy.

Neither is the mascot.

Mr. Met came under fire this week after his frustration with the team spilled over and he gave a fan the middle finger.  The Mets had just lost 7-1 to the Milwaukee Brewers.
