Orange County deputies arrest man accused of luring, raping 13-year-old girl walking to school

, Fla. — Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Luis Manuel Frias Jr. on Friday Jan. 17 on multiple charges including sexual battery and kidnapping.

On Monday, Jan. 13. Frias lured a 13-year-old girl on her way to school into his vehicle, where he drove to another location and sexually battered her.

The victim, however, was able to work with detectives, which in turn helped identify Frias to make an arrest.

Detectives are concerned that there may have been previous luring attempts from Frias in the past.

Frias was charged with three counts of sexual battery, one count of kidnapping, three counts of lewd or lascivious molestation, and one count of unlawful exposure of sexual organs.
