Orlando Apollos and WRDQ TV 27 form partnership for inaugural season

Orlando, Fla. — Central Florida football fans have a new team to root for as the Orlando Apollos, led by legendary coach Steve Spurrier, kick off the new Alliance of American Football League Saturday in Orlando.

The Apollos are partnering with WRDQ TV 27, part of the Cox Media Group family to become the exclusive local television home of Orlando’s newest professional sports franchise.  It was announced Friday that WRDQ TV 27 will broadcast all non-nationally televised games Apollo games.

You can see the following games on WRDQ TV 27:

*March 2: Orlando Apollos vs Salt Lake Stallions at 4 p.m.

*March 9: Orlando Apollos vs Birmingham Iron at 2 p.m.

*March 23: Orlando Apollos vs Atlanta Legends at 3 p.m.

*March 30: Orlando Apollos vs Memphis Express at 2 p.m.

All Alliance of American Football games for the 2019 season will be televised, beginning with the Orlando Apollos season opener February 9 against the Atlanta Legends at 8 p.m. on CBS. All Apollos home game will be played at Spectrum Stadium.
