ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orlando based collecting items for women at an area homeless shelter.
Without naming the shelter specifically, One Heart for Women and Children founder and CEO Stephanie Bowman tells News 96.5 WDBO this particular effort is personal for her.
“We have 48 women in a shelter and we’re collecting very specific items for each one of them and it’s at one of the shelters I lived in 21 years ago and it’s really where my life was transformed,” said Bowman.
The items include deodorant, soap, shampoo, conditioner and other personal items.
