PICTURE: The 'ideal' face according to women and men

Two 'perfect face'  images show that men and women have very different opinions when it comes to what the ideal beauty is.

In a survey, both men and women were asked to build the perfect woman using features from some of the most beautiful women in the world. What's interesting is that men preferred female celebrities that were older instead of young ones.

Women see the epitome of beauty as dark hair, a stronger nose and forehead profile, and strong brows.The most popular features for men were Shakira's flowing blonde hair, Victoria Secret's Miranda Kerr's nose, the forehead of Jennifer Aniston, and Angelina Jolie's cheekbones - as well as her famously full lips.

Women raved about Freida Pinto's black mane, Keira Knightley's refined cheekbones, Blake Lively's strong nose and Scarlett Johansson's mouth.

A spokesperson for escentual.com, who commissioned the survey,  said: 'These two pictures demonstrate the different ideals men and women have when it comes to the female face.
