SeaWorld Animal Rescue has returned a manatee to warm Florida waters after it was rescued near a power plant in Charleston, South Carolina.
The animal was seeking warm waters from a power facility, but found itself isolated from adequate food sources.
Rescuers captured the manatee, named Goose, last December 11 and released it near the Kennedy Point Marina in Titusville.
Workers also attached a tracking device to the animal to make sure it heads to naturally warm waters.
