Sand bags available this weekend

Orange County is making sandbags available for residents this weekend, who want to prepare for possible flooding from Erika. Click here to see a map.

  • Apopka Maintenance: 3258 Clarcona Road. Apopka
  • Bithlo Maintenance: 18753 Old Cheney Highway. Bithlo
  • John Young Maintenance: 4200 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando
  • Taft Maintenance: 11442 Intermodal Way, Orlando
  • Three Points Maintenance: 4737 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando
  • West Orange Maintenance: 644 Beulah Road, Winter Garden
  • Zellwood Maintenance: 3400 Golden Gem Road, Zellwood
  • Goldenrod Maintenance: 2530 N. Forsyth Road, Orlando

Seminole County is making sandbags available at Soldiers Creek Park (2400 S.R. 419, Longwood) on Saturday and Sunday. Bring your own shovel. Sand and bags will be provided.

  • Altamonte Springs residents may also fill sandbags at Eastmonte Park (830 Magnolia Drive, Altamonte Springs, in the overflow parking area) and Westmonte Park (624 Bills Lane, near the recycle stations) 24-hours a day.
  • Longwood residents may fill sandbags at their Public Works Complex (907 East SR 434) beginning at 7:00AM Saturday.
  • Lake Mary residents may fill up to 10 sandbags from 8:00AM-5:00PM on Monday at 235 Rinehart Road.
