Sanford family escapes house fire

SANFORD, Fla. —

A family of five managed to esccape the burning home early this morning, but Seminole County Fire Rescue had to enter the burning structure on Douglas Street to rescue two dogs thet were trapped in the back of the home.

Officials said one person did suffered minor injuries, but no other injuries were reported.  Authorities beieve the fire started in the garage of the home and is not considered suspcious at this time.

The American Red Cross is working with the family.
