Sanford, Fla. — Sanford police say a man was shot Monday night outside Seminole Towne Center on Towne Center blvd and state road 46.
Both Sanford police and the Seminole County Sheriff's office respond to calls of shots fired around 7:45 p.m. in the parking lot near the Burlington Coat Factory store.
The victim was shot multiple times and transported to an area hospital as a trauma alert according to police.
Deputies say, the shooter fled the area and is still at large.
