SpaceX, Axiom Space delays launch of second private crewed mission to space station

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Axiom Space’s second private astronaut mission from the Kennedy Space Center will not happen next week as planned.

The launch will not take place on Monday, May 8, and a new launch date has not been set.

Axiom Space is planning to send four people to the International Space Station on a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft.

The company announced Tuesday night that it is looking at other launch dates.
