Suspect in Clermont man’s shooting death turns himself in

Miguel Alex Yntriago Clermont police have named Miguel Alex Yntriago, 19, a homicide suspect.

A 19-year-old accused in the shooting death of a Clermont man turned himself in to detectives Wednesday, authorities said.

Miguel Yntriago was wanted for the fatal shooting Saturday morning of Christopher Fabian, 20, of Clermont.

The shooting happened outside a home on Laurel Hill Drive.

Witnesses said Yntriago and Fabian were friends and it is not clear what may have led to the shooting.

Detectives said Yntriago is cooperating with the investigation.

He was booked into the Lake County Jail.
