Texas teacher charged with felony for performing lap dance on 15 yr old student

A school teacher told a court she lap danced a 15-year-old male student for his birthday because her class 'convinced her to do it'.

42 year old Felicia A. Smith has been charged with a felony of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Smith teaches at Stoval Middle School in Houston, Texas.

According to court documents, the  15-year-old student entered the classroom and said it was his birthday. He said the other students encouraged him to sit in a chair at the front of the room, where Smith  performed a full contact lap dance lasting about four minutes.

The boy told the Aldine ISD police that they touched each other several times.  He also said he smacked the teachers buttocks and that Smith gyrated against his crotch and placed her head between his legs from a kneeling position.

The Aldine Independent School District issued the following statement:

    A criminal charge of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student has been filed against a Stovall Middle School teacher. The charge was filed by Aldine Independent School District Police, who investigated the case along with the campus administration. The teacher was removed from the campus during the investigation and has not returned. The district takes this allegation seriously and is fully cooperating with prosecutors. The safety and security of our students will continue to be a top priority in Aldine ISD.
