The deadline to replace your old SunPass transponder is fast approaching

Sun-Pass is reminding Florida drivers that the deadline to replace battery-operated transponders is Thursday December 31.

Thursday is the last day to swap out your old transponder for a new one because on January 1, they will no longer work.

 Sun-Pass officials say customers won't have to pay to replace an old responder and service will not be interrupted,

There are two types of transponders for you to choose from.  The Slim Portable transponder that attaches to your windshield or the SunPass mini sticker which is placed under the rear view mirror.
