Truck carrying $100K in Hershey's chocolate stolen

Someone stole a tractor-trailer loaded with Hershey's chocolate, Volusia County authorities said Tuesday.

According to investigators, someone entered a secured area of JD Lewis Trucking Company and stole the tractor-trailer owned by Sunstate Carriers Inc. in Deland.

The truck was last seen on Saturday at 3 p.m., but when workers arrived on Sunday it was gone.

Officials said the truck was carting an estimated value of $100,000 in chocolate.
