Orlando, Fla. — SPOILER ALERT: If you have not yet had a chance to ride the new Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios and do not want anything spoiled for you, then do not read any further.
Less than a month since it opened, it seems the new popular attraction has ran into some issues: some of its animatronics have broken down. However, Disney has had a backup plan in anticipation of such events.
In the ride, there are two Kylo Ren animatronics. The first one you see inside an interrogation room with General Hux. When he learns that his prisoners have escaped, he yells to the audience "There's nowhere to run!"
The second one is during an escape scene, where he uses the Force to pull two transports simultaneously before a hole gets blasted into the wall and he gets sucked into space.
If the second animatronic goes down, there is a B-mode version of the ride which takes place. You can see that here:
However, there is no B-mode available if the first one breaks down. He simply slumps despite the fact that you hear what he is saying. You can see video that was taken of both Kylo Rens breaking down here:
