This guy really, REALLY wanted a ride.
A driver on Interstate 77 in North Carolina captured video of a man hanging on for dear life to a car traveling at over 50 MPH.
According to
Brenda Cruz was traveling with her entire family on the highway Saturday when she saw the car with the man on the back of it. She said she was worried, especially with drivers going so fast on the interstate. Troopers told Channel 9 that they are trying to figure out what happened.
"All of a sudden the kids say, 'There's someone on top of the car on the trunk,’ and I'm like, 'What?'" Brenda said. "I said, 'Let me get my phone and start recording.'"
The Cruz family says they then saw the man try to break open the back window and climb inside. They say a woman with a child was driving the car.
Police are still investigating the incident. They believe the driver and the man hanging on know each other and that it may have been a domestic dispute.
