The isolation is real inside the International Space Station and it may be getting to NASA astronaut Scott Kelly.
The astronaut is going all out in the final week of his one-year mission on the ISS. Kelly donned an ape suit and chased around a fellow astronaut through the orbiting laboratory.
In the hilarious video, one of the crew members unloads a soft storage container without knowing Kelly is in inside and straps it down and leaves. Kelly then emerges and makes his way through the laboratory chasing the fellow astronaut in zero-G.
“Needed a little humor to lighten up a#YearInSpace,” Kelly wrote in a Facebook post Feb. 23rd. Go big, or go home. I think I'll do both! #SpaceApe."
The suit was a gift from Kelly’s twin brother, Mark and arrived during the last supply mission.
Kelly and Russian cosmonaut Mikhail will return to Earth March 1st.
