Melbourne Beach, Fla. — AND We’re back up and running! The calm after the storm!
UPDATE: The power at the home was lost Tuesday night before 10 p.m. as the eye of Hurricane Dorian passed by.
UPDATE: The webcam is back up and running as of 11:40 am Tuesday. Just in time to watch Hurricane Dorian pass by Melbourne Beach. We think a power-outage in the area knocked out the internet for awhile.
UPDATE: The internet at the home was not working as of 6:00 a.m. Tuesday. Regrettably, we will miss the sunrise and the storm passing by - as it is too late to return to try to get it back up and running.

If you ever wondered what things would look like from an evacuation zone as a hurricane approached - here is your chance to watch.
I have set up a web camera in a third story window (yes its a hurricane window) at my home in Melbourne Beach.
Of course, the camera will only operate as long as there is a internet connection and power.

Until then, we will name it Camera Cantore as it looks directly into the eye of Hurricane Dorian.
