White Castle set to return to Florida

Orange County, Fla. — White Castle announced it will hold a news conference Monday morning to make a "special" announcement about its "presence in Florida" more than 50 years after the chain left the state.

The Columbus, Ohio based company will make the announcement from Unicorp's Village at O-Town West development on Daryl Carter Parkway, near Disney World.

White Castle, currently operates more than 375 restaurants in 13 states, and hasn't had a location in Florida in 50 years.

White Castle's Crave Mobile will be at the event, serving the restaurant's popular meals.

O-Town West will include other retail and residential space.
