San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick's birth mother had some harsh words for her son on Twitter.
Heidi Russo tweeted at Kaepernick, "There's ways to make change w/o disrespecting & bringing shame to the very country & family who afforded you so many blessings."
Kaepernick refused to stand during the national anthem this past weekend in a pre-season game with the Green Bay Packers.
His next game is tomorrow night (Thursday) in San Diego.
