Optician’s cat wears glasses to help kids overcome fear of eye problems

Cat wearing glasses helps kids with theirs'

A Pennsylvania optician whose practice is for children with eye problems has a cat named Truffles who helps make kids feel better by wearing glasses herself.

Danielle Crull’s practice in Mechanicsburg is called A Child’s Eyes, and her primary focus is infants, toddlers and children in elementary school.

The young children are often scared of anything coming near their eyes and Truffles helps with the array of glasses she wears, so it’s not so scary for the kids when they see it.

Crull told CNN, “The story that happens over and over is a little one is crying and she comes out and I put glasses on her, and they immediately stop crying and laugh and put their own glasses on.”
