Orange County Public Schools to host transportation job fair

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County Public Schools’ transportation services will host a job fair Saturday, January 11, from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

It is set to happen at the Pine Hills Transportation Compound, which is located at 5140 N. Pine Hills Road in Orlando.

OCPS is looking to fill 100 bus driver positions for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year. The school district is also looking to hire mechanics.

Officials say bus operators may receive up to $10,800 in incentives and $16,000 in bonuses over two years. Other incentives include personal health insurance at no cost, retirement packages, as well as paid holidays and ten sick days.
