Oreo will be here, even if an asteroid hits, as they’ve created an asteroid-proof bunker for their products.
In a video published to the brand’s YouTube page, Oreo says it was inspired by the Global Seed Vault in Svalbard, Norway, which is a storage facility for various seeds that has been designed and built to withstand both natural and manmade disasters and is located above the permafrost line, placing it in the Arctic Circle.
According to a Twitter post, "Each cookie is wrapped in protective Mylar which can keep our cookies safe from temperatures of -80°F to 300°F.

In another post, Oreo notes the vault also contains vials of powdered milk.
The Oreo bunker is located near the Svalbard seed vault, and has a coded lock on the door.
