Paramore’s Hayley Williams: ‘Fans who vote for Ron DeSantis are dead to me’

During her performance at the Adjacent Music Festival in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Hayley Williams, the lead singer of Paramore, expressed her strong opposition to Ron DeSantis.

Williams boldly stated that anyone who supports DeSantis by voting for him is completely disregarded by her, going so far as to say they are “dead” to her.

Emphasizing her comfort in discussing political matters, Williams addressed the crowd, asking if her stance on DeSantis was clear enough for everyone present.

As the current Republican Governor of Florida, DeSantis has presented himself as an “anti-woke” advocate.

Last week, DeSantis announced his anticipated bid for the presidency.

** NOTE: VULGARITY **

This is not the first time Hayley Williams has voiced her political opinions.

She has been a staunch supporter of LGBTQ+ rights and actively participated in the Love Rising fundraiser in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.

During the event, she performed a cover of Deana Carter’s song “Did I Shave My Legs For This?” to show solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community and support local LGBTQIA+ organizations.
