If you think your bathroom is the dirtiest room in your home, think again.
Carpet specialists ScS found carpets in the bedroom harbor more than double the bacteria found in a living room, and ten times as much as the toilet seat in your bathroom. Home office floors were found to be the cleanest and bedroom carpets were by far the dirtiest. Experts recommend vacuuming at least twice a week and having carpets professionally cleaned at least once a year to avoid growing high levels of bacteria, mold, and yeast.
