Take advantage of 80+ Fourth of July shopping deals

WDBO Consumer Warrior Clark Howard says this Independence Day is a great time to go shopping.

He says some are typical for the time of year, like appliances and lawn equipment, but this year summer clothes - which are year-round for us - and furniture and even cars are what he calls “great deals!”

Many clothing stores are offering half-price items or more, but Urban Outfitters caught my eye with sale items starting at $1.99 Old Navy says deals start at $3.99.

Kenneth Cole is advertising 80, yes 80 percent off and Levi’s is not far behind with a 70 percent discount on closeout styles.

Vera Bradley not only has a 50 percent off sale but, is also offering free shipping.

Mattresses seem to be on big discounts from several different carriers and even EBAY is offering a 20 percent discount code this weekend.
