Alabama mom accused of leaving baby alone in car for 6 hours outside strip club

PRICHARD, Ala. — An Alabama mother is facing a misdemeanor child endangerment charge after police said she left her baby in a car while she worked at a strip club.

According to WPMI and WALA, Eva Rudolph, 20, of Prichard, surrendered to police Tuesday after videos circulated on social media showing her infant daughter alone in a locked vehicle parked outside Lotus Gentlemen’s Club early Saturday.

The car had “no AC going, no windows cracked and no air circulating inside,” Prichard police Lt. Robert Martin told WALA.

In the viral videos, bystanders attempt to open the car doors to save the child before Rudolph moves the vehicle to a nearby alley, the news outlets reported. The child remained inside the vehicle, authorities said.

Although onlookers called police, Rudolph drove away before authorities arrived, WALA reported.

We're aware of the video that was posted last night of the child left unattended in a vehicle. The video has been turned over to our detective who works alongside of CAC and DHR for further investigation.
