FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A bomb threat prompted the evacuation of portions of a Florida airport on Saturday, officials said.
Update 1:35 p.m. EDT July 10: The Broward County Sheriff’s Office gave the all clear and reopened Terminals 2 and 3 as well as entry to the airport.
Deputies continue to investigate.

Update 12:15 p.m. EDT July 10: Entry into the airport is closed while the Broward County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad investigates, the agency said.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office said it was called about a bomb threat around 8:49 a.m. and as a precaution closed Terminals 2 and 3 as well as entry into the airport.
At around 8:49 a.m., BSO deputies were notified of a bomb threat @FLLFlyer. As a precaution, deputies have excavated Terminals 2 & 3 and have also shutdown entry into the airport. Terminal 2 serves flights for Delta Airlines, Boca News Now reported. Terminal 3 is used by American Airlines, JetBlue and Spirit.
