Lowe’s is the latest retail chain to announce the planned hiring of tens of thousands of workers for the holiday season.
The company announced recently it will be filling 20,000 jobs across the U.S., according to Nasdaq.
The positions will be in both stores and distribution centers.
The company is adding 2,500 permanent full-time and part-time jobs in distribution centers.
Workers will also be getting a bonus just in times during the holidays. The company will pay $100 million to thank workers for being on the front lines.

Full-time workers at stores, distribution centers and call centers will get $300 and part-time workers, along with seasonal employees, will get $150. The payments will be made Nov. 13, Fox Business reported.
Lowe’s has paid out five other bonuses through the year as the country continues to feel the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, Fox Business reported.
