A celebratory trip to SeaWorld turned into a distressing day for a Florida family who watched a beached pilot whale struggle for about 25 minutes to get back into the water before trainers finally went to help it.
The video shows the short-finned pilot whale stuck for about 10 minutes. The trainers left the stage because of a lightning storm. According to the youtube video description, after the video stopped recording, an additional 10-15 minutes went by before two dolphin trainers pushed it back in.
