Technology - allowing us to do the miraculous as well as the completely asinine.

Like, for instance, making a Roomba that screams bloody murder and swears profusely when it crashes in to anything.

And that’s what exactly what YouTuberer Michael Reeves has done.

On his channel, he often builds silly, and kind of useless, robots while making viewers laugh with foul-mouthed commentary.

After a multitude of suggestions for a screaming Roomba, Reeves finally caved and did it.

The vacuum, at first, had a robotic voice.

But wanting it to sound more realistic (read: human,) Reeves asked fellow YouTubers to record themselves screaming and swearing.

"Why would you build me so that my sole existential purpose is to suffer for the entertainment of others?" the Roomba at one point asks.

Amazingly, it didn’t take extraordinary engineering to create the disturbing robot - all Reeves used was a touch sensor, small computer and bluetooth speaker.

"When a collision gets detected from the sensors, sound gets played from this Raspberry Pi to this bluetooth speaker,” he explains in the beginning of his video.

He later sits with others to have dinner as the Roomba bounces around crashing, screaming and cussing at their feet.

“It’s like I’m in a horror movie,” one young lady observes.
