Markley has been doing talk radio over the last decade, after years of doing the rock format. He hasn’t had a real job since he was 19. What does Markley do away from the show? He coaches youth sports, still tries to participate in some sports (he doesn’t yet understand that he’s too old), plays a very mediocre guitar, looks for a cure for balding, and spends as much time with his wife and 3 kids as he can. He also still cranks classic hard rock, reads books, plays catch with his dog, participates with his friends in a Bible study, and bores his kids with stories from “when he was cool.”
